Mindaugas Stakvilevičius
Mindaugas Stakvilevičius (born July 24, 1931 in Stebuliai , Rajongemeinde Lazdijai ) is a Lithuanian politician and member of the Seimas .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1950 at Pagėgiai grammar school , he studied physics from 1950 to 1956 at Moscow University , which he completed with a doctorate. From 1956 to 1989 he taught in the schools of the Šiauliai district community , and from 1956 to 1992 at the Šiaulių pedagoginis institutas . From 1990 to 1992 and from 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas (as a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija ).
From 1996 to 2000 he was a lecturer at the Šiaulių universitetas and taught at the Šiaurės Lietuvos kolegija in Šiauliai . From 2003 to 2011 he was a member of the Šiauliai Municipality Council .
He was a member of the CPSU , LDDP and Lietuvos socialistų partija (since 1996, chairman from 1997 to 2006).
