Mini Ninjas is an action-adventure - video game from IO Interactive for Microsoft Windows , Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 , Wii and Nintendo DS in 2009, in which the player takes the role of Hiro and his five friends as ninjas take over.
Gameplay
Mini Ninjas is a linear third-person - action adventure in which the player can assume the role of six Mini Ninjas. Everyone has their own unique talents, weapons, and skills. The player can find items such as special weapons or food in the game world.
The enemies of the mini-ninjas are animals enchanted by the great ruler of the samurai. When these are defeated, their curse breaks and they take on their shape as animals again. From then on they can support the player, for example brown bears can attack with their claws or warthogs can throw themselves at enemies.
During the adventure the player can collect coins and ingredients like mushrooms, flowers or ginseng roots . He can then spend the collected coins on weapons or recipes from the Tengu , a crow-like, humanoid figure who also gives tasks and advice. Fruits on trees or bushes that strengthen the player's health can be harvested by shaking the tree or bush.
Scattered around the world are ancient shrines, each containing a scroll that bestows new spells on Hiro. There are also 100 Jizo statues to be found, which can be collected for special awards or trophies.
