Minik Dahl Høegh (born May 4, 1985 in Nuuk ) is a Greenlandic handball player .

Career

Minik Dahl Høegh only started playing handball at the age of 17. In 2008 the back player signed a contract with the Danish first division club GOG Svendborg TGI . Since Dahl Høegh received only a small share of the game at GOG, he moved to Fredericia HK in January 2010. In the summer of 2011 he joined the second division HC FYN. In the 2011/12 season he was the top scorer in the second highest Danish division with 171 goals. In the summer of 2012 he returned to GOG. Four years later he joined Århus Håndbold . In January 2018 he moved to Skanderborg Håndbold . From summer 2018 to summer 2020 he was under contract with the Danish second division club Ajax København .

Minik Dahl Høegh is a member of the Greenland national team . At the Handball Pan American Championship in 2012 he was the top scorer with 49 goals. Before that he was part of the Greenland squad at the 2007 World Cup . At the Handball Pan American Championship in 2016 , he was again top scorer with 56 goals.

Private

Minik Dahl Høegh has been married to the Greenlandic singer Julie Berthelsen since July 5, 2019 , with whom he has two children.
