The Ministerio de Asuntos de Exteriores y de Cooperación ( German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation) is the Spanish ministry responsible for foreign policy .

aims

The primary goal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation is the planning, management, implementation and evaluation of foreign policy and international cooperation, especially with the European Union and Ibero America .

It also pursues the objectives:

  • the consolidation of international scientific , economic and cultural relationships
  • cross-border and cross-border cooperation
  • Spanish citizens in foreign countries to protect and
  • preparing, negotiating and handling international contracts in which Spain is a party
