Minna Bichler , actually Wilhelmina Bichler , married Wilhelmina Richter , ( August 31, 1857 in Budapest - December 3, 1936 in Prague ) was an Austrian theater actress .

Life

Bichler, daughter of the actress Elise Bichler-Quand, who was well known in her time in Pest , dared to make her first debut, not quite fifteen years ago when she first appeared at the Deutsches Theater during her mother's benefit.

This performance was successful because she immediately received an engagement at the Berlin Residenztheater (1878). From there she came to Prague. She appeared on the stage of the German State Theater, in the opening performance of the Eduard Kreibig management as "Fleurette" in Donna Diana . In 1885 the management changed, but under Angelo Neumann she remained in Prague until 1896.

With her marriage to the Prague industrialist and patron Alexander Richter , she ended her stage career (farewell role: “Edrita” in Weh 'dem, der Lies von Grillparzer) and withdrew into private life. After his death in 1914, she stayed in Prague. She lived in modest circumstances and continued to have contact with the theater.
