Minot was a French measure of the volume of salt and grain . As a fruit measure in Canada, the liter measure differed only slightly in the decimal places.

• 1 Minot = 1967 ⅓ Parisian cubic inches = 39 liters (39.15 liters)
• 1 mine = 2 minots
• 1 Setier = 4 Minots
• 1 muid = 48 minots
