The Minsk Crystal Group ( Belarusian Менск Крышталь , Russian Минск Кристалл ) is the largest producer of alcoholic beverages in Belarus . The group of companies, which is in state hands, produces and sells various spirits such as vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila and various fruit and grain brandies.
Minsk Kristall goes back to a distillery that was founded by two brothers in Minsk in 1893.
