Mintarja
Mintarja (* around 1945 , also known as Tjiong Kie Nyan ) is a former Indonesian badminton player .
Career
In 1970 Mintarja won with the Indonesian team in the Thomas Cup , the world championship for men's teams , losing one double with Indratno against Ng Boon Bee and Punch Gunalan in the final against Malaysia, but won the other double against Tan Aik Huang and Ng Tat Wai . At the Singapore Open 1967 he was in the doubles final, but lost there to Tan Yee Khan and Ng Boon Bee. In the previous semifinals, the Indonesians Ippei Kojima and Masao Akiyama from Japan had defeated in three sets. In the final of the Singapore Pesta Championships 1968 they lost again to Tan Yee Khan and Ng Boon Bee. Mintarja contributed two victories to the 4-1 international win against Singapore in 1967.
