The Minto Midtown is a residential complex consisting of two high-rise buildings (Quantum 1 and 2) in Toronto , Canada . The buildings are on Yonge Street near the intersection with Eglinton Street. They were built by the Canadian real estate company Minto Developments Inc. The construction of the buildings caused a lot of criticism. Above all, their height was criticized. Minto Developments agreed to reduce the height of the building, so some floors were lost. Nevertheless, they are the tallest buildings in the vicinity.

Eglinton underground station is opposite the buildings .

LEED

The buildings were designed to be energy-saving. Upon completion, they were awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold status. They are the largest residential buildings in North America that achieved gold status in 2009.
