Minuscule 5 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), δ 453 ( by Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 342 sheets of parchment (21 × 15.5 cm). The manuscript was dated to the 13th century using paleography . It was written in one column with 28 lines per page.

The code contains the entire New Testament without the revelation . The Catholic letters come before the Pauline letters .

The manuscript is in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 106) in Paris . She is probably from Calabria .

It was used by Robert Estienne in his Editio Regia and referred to as δ 'by him. The handwriting was examined by Wettstein and Scholz.

The Greek text of the code in the Catholic Letters and the Pauline Letters was classified by Aland in Category III . He put the Gospels and Acts in Category V.
