Minuscule 60 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), ε 1321 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 291 sheets of parchment (20.5 × 14.5 cm). The manuscript is dated to 1297 by its colophon . The handwriting is complete.
description
The code contains the text of the four gospels. It was written in one column with 23 lines each. It contains the Epistula ad Carpianum , Eusebian tables, τιτλοι, κεφαλαια, images, signatures and Ammonian sections, but the Eusebian canon is missing . It contains some of the Scholia of Arethas.
The manuscript (folios 4-294) belongs to the same manuscript as 2821 (folios 295-316).
The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type and is assigned to Category V.
history
The manuscript belonged to John Moore, Bishop of Ely, whose books were donated to the University of Cambridge by King George I when he died in 1714. The Code is currently in the Cambridge University Library (Dd. 9.69, fol. 4–294) in Cambridge .
