Mirela Paşca

Mirela Paşca (born February 19, 1975 in Baia Mare ) is a former Romanian gymnast .

In 1990 Paşca took part in the European Championships for the first time . In Athens she was equal on points with the Soviet gymnasts Swetlana Boginskaja and Natalia Kalinina European champion on the uneven bars. She was also fifth in the all-around competition. At the 1991 World Championships Paşca won bronze with the Romanian team.

In 1992 she won bronze on the uneven bars at the World Championships . In the same year Paşca took part in the Olympic Games . In Barcelona she won the silver medal with the Romanian team behind the United Team. She also came fourth on the uneven bars.

After retiring from active sport, Paşca became a coach in Spain in 1997. In 2006 she opened a gym in Bucharest.
