European Gymnastics Championships 1990 (women)
The 18th European Women's Gymnastics Championships took place in 1990 in Piraeus . Once again, the Soviet Union was the strongest nation and won a total of six gold medals. For the first time , a medal went to Spain through Eva Rueda , who reached all device finals . For the first time, three gold medals were awarded on the uneven bars, as three female athletes were tied for first place.
For the first time, an Israeli team competed.
