European Gymnastics Championships 1989 (women)

The 17th European Women's Gymnastics Championships took place in 1989 in Brussels . Henrietta Ónodi was able to win the first ever medals and the first title for Hungary . On the ground, both Daniela Silivaș and Swetlana Boginskaja achieved the top mark of 10,000 and shared the European title. German athletes could not win medals.
