Mirjam Fischer

Mirjam Fischer (born May 18, 1977 in Hohenems as Mirjam Jäger ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). From 2006 to 2014 she was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Mirjam Fischer is married, has one child and lives with her family in Götzis. She works as a program manager CRM / CXM.

Political career

Fischer has been a community representative in Götzis since 2000. In 2005 she took over the chairmanship of the community council of Götzis. Mirjam Fischer was chairwoman of the Vorarlberg young generation from 2002 to 2005 and since November 6, 2006 a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament, where she was the area spokesperson for youth, the environment, spatial planning and transport within the SPÖ state parliament club. She replaced Elmar Mayer in 2006 , who moved to the National Council. In the state elections in 2009 , Mirjam Fischer ran for 6th place on the SPÖ state list and second place on the Feldkirch district list. In the run-up to the 2014 state elections , she announced that she no longer wanted to stand as a candidate and subsequently left state politics with the inauguration of the new state parliament on October 15, 2014.
