Miroslav Jović (born March 25, 1971 in Kragujevac ) is a former Serbian football player and current coach .

Career

Jović began his professional career at Rad Belgrade and moved to the Greek first division club PAOK Saloniki in the summer of 1996 . After only one season in Greece, he moved to FC Energie Cottbus. After three years in the second division for Energie Cottbus, where he only scored 2 goals in 52 games, he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena . For Jena he played 148 games in five years and scored 51 goals before moving to the reserve team of FC Carl Zeiss in January 2006. After the 2006/2007 season and a year for the second team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena, he ended his active career in the summer of 2007. Since 2009 he has played in the traditional team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena.

Coaching career

After his active career, he worked in various functions in the young talent center of FC Carl Zeiss Jena and in the scouting area. On October 30, 2011 he was named next to Lothar Kurbjuweit as assistant coach of the third division team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena. From July 1, 2012, Jović has been working again as a scout for FC Carl Zeiss Jena and also works as a forward coach. In the summer of 2017, Jović also took over the post of sports director of the newly established women's football department at FC Carl Zeiss Jena .
