Career

Mirson Volina has played for FC Thun since August 8, 2007 . First he was used in the U-18, then in the U-21. On March 2, 2008 he made his debut in the first team of FC Thun in the championship game against FC Basel , in the top division of Switzerland, the Axpo Super League . It stayed with this one mission. In the 2009/10 season he was part of the extended squad of the 1st team, but was not used in the championship. However, Volina was substituted on in two cup games against Challenge League clubs. In the game against FC Winterthur , he stepped onto the field in the 74th minute and scored two goals for FC Thun in overtime with a score of 2: 2 between the 104th and 115th minute, thus enabling the Swiss to advance to the quarter-finals Cup. In the encounter against SC Kriens he was substituted on in the 79th minute and scored the only goal of the Bernese Oberlanders .

Since FC Thun could fall back on other good midfielders in the first team, Volina was preferred in the U-21. The midfielder, who is part of the youth team, was the first of the 2nd group in the 2nd Interregional league with the FC Thun U-21 team one game before the end of the season. The U-21 rose to the first division (third highest division). Although Volina was not in action for the first team in the 2009/10 season, he can celebrate a double promotion as a member of the extended squad, as the first team became Challenge League champions and rose to the Super League.

On May 26, 2010, Volina came on in a friendly match between the Albanian U-21 national team and the Polish U-21 in the 87th minute for Sabien Lila, who saw the red card.
