Mirza-ye Qomi

Mirza-ye Qomi ( Persian میرزای قمی; * 1738 ; † 1815 or 1816) was a Twelve Shiite legal scholar and theologian. He was a resuscitator of ʿilm al-uṣūl in the Hawza and is famous for his book Qawanin al-usul (قوانین الاصول), a work on jurisprudence and methodology . His real name was Mirza Abu l-Qasem-e Gilani.
