Anastasija Khmelnytska

Anastasija Khmelnytska (born December 31, 1997 in Prague , Czech Republic ) is a former German rhythmic gymnast .

career

Khmelnytska started in the singles for the 1st Vfl Fortuna Marzahn . In 2010 she took part in the German Youth Championships for the first time and was the 13-year-old fifteenth in the all-around competition. The following year she was able to improve to eleventh place in the all-around competition and reach sixth place in the final with the clubs. At the German Championships in 2012, she finished ninth in the all-around competition and sixth in the final with the ribbon in the 15-year-old age group.

In October 2012 Anastasia Khmelnytska moved to the federal base in Fellbach and thus became a member of the national team group . At the 2013 World Championships in Kiev she was the youngest participating athlete and reached ninth place in the all-around and seventh place in the club final with the newly formed German group, which also included Judith Hauser , Anastasia Kempf , Daniela Potapova , Sara Radman and Rana Tokmak . At the 2014 European Championships in Baku , the group with Hauser, Khmelnytska, Nicole Müller , Potapova and Tokmak finished eleventh in the all-around competition and eighth in the final with ten clubs. The World Championships in 2014 in Izmir closed as the previous year with ninth in the all around and seventh with clubs from the group. In 2015, the group missed direct Olympic qualification at the World Championships . The group was then able to secure this at the test event in Rio de Janeiro in early 2016. At the 2016 Olympic Games , Khmelnytska came 10th with the group. After the Olympic Games, she ended her sporting career.
