Mischa Léon
Mischa Léon , actually Harry Haurowitz (* 1889 in Copenhagen ; † 1928 ) was a Danish opera singer (tenor).
Léon was married to the Canadian singer Pauline Donalda from 1918 . He studied Leoš Janáček's Diary of a Missing Person with Břetislav Bakala and sang the English premiere of the work in the original language in London in October 1922, and the French premiere at the Paris Conservatory in December of the same year . He toured the USA and Europe and sang Don José in a performance of Bizet's Carmen at the National Theater in Prague . In 1917 he made several recordings at Victor Records .
