Misery Inc. is a Finnish music group that was founded in late 2001.

history

The band originally came entirely from the Finnish city of Myrskylä . After disputes about the direction the band should play, they brought in Teemu Ylämäki, a lead guitarist, and specialized in the metalcore genre .

Shortly afterwards, test recordings began, during which three demo tapes were created. The demos caused a stir and received good reviews, which led to the fact that the record label ZYX Records offered them a recording deal, which was accepted by the band.

A little later, the quintet began recording their first studio album, Yesterday's Grave , which they released at the end of January. Shortly after this release, singer Jukka Huuhtanen left the band.

Then it was quiet about Misery Inc., as they had to look for a replacement on the vacant singer position. He was found in June 2005 with two singers, Niko Mankinen and Jules Näveri again completed Misery Inc. During the work on the second studio album Random End internal discrepancies arose, whereupon bassist Jukka Keisala left the band, he was replaced by Aki Heikinheimo replaced.

On February 8, 2006, Random End was released in Finland by the Firebox label. Shortly afterwards, singer Jules Näveri left the band and was replaced by Tommi Niemi . This means that Janne Tolonen and Joonas Kauppinen the last remaining founding members of Misery Inc.

They toured Finland with the new formation for about a year until they began work on the third studio album, which was released in 2007 under the Johanna label . The new singer Tommi Niemi left the band shortly after the release of the album and was temporarily replaced by the producer of the album, Mikko Herranen.

When the work on new songs for a fourth album had started, Mikko Herranen left the band and the band was disbanded "because they would not get through another member change".
