life and career
Cross grew up in Poland, where she attended a traditional school where she got good grades. She later worked in a clothing store and studied photography before entering the European porn industry in May 2013. She chose the first name Misha for her pseudonym , as this is a popular Russian first name and Cross has an interest in Russian culture. A week after Cross received the AVN Award for Best Female Foreign Performer of the Year , she and Rebecca Lord agreed on a long-term contract for Lord's production studio in early 2016 .
