Missile FC is a Gabonese football club from Libreville .

history

The club was founded in 2003 and started the 2003/2004 season in the second-class Championnat de la D2. After two years, the team celebrated the championship of Division 2 and in 2005 rose to the Championnat National de D1 for the first time . In the year one after the promotion, the club celebrated an eighth success with third place. In the following years Missile slipped to a mediocre club and in 2006 and 2007 only took 10th place out of 12 clubs and only narrowly escaped relegation. An eighth place followed in 2009 and a third place in 2010, before the team became national champions for the first time in 2011. The club qualified for the CAF Champions League 2012 for the first time . There the club won the first leg of the preliminary round against the Ivorian runner-up Africa Sports National 3-2, but retired after a 0-2 in the second leg.
