Missing Heart was a German Eurodance project founded by producers David Brandes and Felix Gauder.

history

After the Missing Heart project was founded in 1994, the first single Wild Angels was released. The single was sung by Lyane Leigh . This single missed a chart placement. Missing Heart was just a side project of E-Rotic and had the same producers and the same singer. Unlike E-Rotic, which is mostly about sexual intercourse , Missing Heart was about romance . As a side project, Missing Heart also had little public appearances.

In 1995 a second single Charlene was released, which was much more successful.

In 1997 the single Moonlight Shadow was released (a cover song by Mike Oldfield ). This single was not sung by Leigh, but by Elke Schlimbach . This single did not come close to the success of Charlene .

In 2000, the single Charlene was re-recorded by the then new E-Rotic singer Lydia Pockaj . A few months later a new version of Moonlight Shadow followed, which was sung by Manu More . In the same year the album Mystery was released. This also contained a song by E-Rotic, Queen of Light .

Due to the unsuccessful publications, the project was ended in 2002.
