The Missionaries of La Salette , religious symbol briefly MS also, La Salette Missionaries called, are a congregation for men in the Roman Catholic Church .

The order was founded in 1852 in the Marian pilgrimage site of La Salette in the French Alps at the instigation of the Bishop of Grenoble , Philibert de Bruillard . The mystic Sylvain-Marie Giraud , who presided over the congregation from 1865 to 1876, was important.

The missionary congregation is now active in 23 countries in the fields of youth work, adult education and parish pastoral care. The General Government has its seat in Rome. The US American Dennis J. Loomis has been Superior General since 2006. It is supported by a council of four members. In 1946 the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de La Salette was founded.
