Miscell
A miscella (from Latin miscella 'mixed') is generally a short text of any content. In today's parlance, the term miscell usually refers to a short article in a humanities journal that does not reach the size of an essay and often contains current information about a research project.
However, the miscella can also make a single piece of information known, which on the one hand concerns a detail that would not be worth a separate article, but on the other hand is so important that it should be published. This can e.g. B. be a newly discovered work of an artist or an archival document that contains information about a person.
