Mitsuko Yokoyama
Mitsuko Yokoyama ( Japanese 横山 満 子 , Yokoyama Mitsuko ; * around 1940 ) is a former Japanese badminton player .
Career
Mitsuko Yokoyama won her first national title at the Japanese Individual Championships in 1961. She won the women's doubles. Four years later she was again the title holder, but this time in the individual. In the final of the Uber Cup 1966 , the world championship for women’s teams, she was able to defeat the USA with the Japanese team in 1966 and thus become world champion.
