The breakthrough valley of the Palten below the Mitterberg (1046 m) between Rottenmann and Selzthal

The Mitterberg is a range of hills between the communities of Lassing and Liezen and lies in the Rottenmanner Tauern . The highest point of the 16 km long range of hills is 1046 m. The range of hills that separates the Styrian Ennstal from the Lassingtal extends from Döllach in an eastward direction to the Palten valley, southwest of Versbichl .
