Müttle

The Müttle , also Mittle or Mittlein , was a measure of volume and grain in Ulm .

The dimension designation was only of regional importance and derived from the common Mütt . A distinction was made between a large and a small Müttle. He is one of the older dimensions.

  • 1 small Müttle = 1459 Parisian cubic inches = 28.9 liters
  • 1 large Müttle = 2896 Parisian cubic inches = 6 Metzen (1 Ulmer M. = 483 Parisian cubic inches) (≈ 57.45 liters) = 24 quarters
  • 1 Imi = 11,584 Parisian cubic inches = 4 large Müttle (≈ 229.78 liters)
