Creirwy is in the Celtic mythology of Wales a legend from the story Hanes Taliesin ("History of Taliesin").

Gwion Bach, Tegid Foel and Ceridwen

Creirwy is the exceptionally beautiful sister of the ugly Morfran , also known as Afaggdu. Her mother is the witch Ceridwen , her father Tegid Foel . She also has a half-brother Gwion Bach , who was named Taliesin after his reincarnation . Her birthplace is said to be Penllyn in the Powys region .

Creirwy is no longer mentioned in the further course of the stories about her brothers Afaggdu and Taliesin.
