Process model of quality management

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The process model of quality management (also 5-M or 5-M process model ) is a process model consisting of the enumeration of the considered elements of a process . The five elements are abbreviated with terms that stand for the process-determining units. The model is similar to the work system used in work design.

  • man (man)
  • the method
  • the material (material)
  • the machine
  • the surrounding world (milieu)

In this context, the human being is viewed both as a worker and as a social unit. Method is understood to mean process flows as well as the work activities that must be carried out in the system . The material stands for the input and output material, which is listed separately in the workstation. The machine stands for all technologies that are used in the system and the surrounding world (environment) describes the entire perceived and non-perceived environment that affects the process.
