Miuzela is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district ( concelho ) of Almeida . 368 inhabitants lived in the community (as of June 30, 2011).

As part of the municipal reorganization, the municipality of Miuzela was officially merged with the municipality of Porto de Ovelha on September 29, 2013 to form the União das Freguesias de Miuzela e Porto de Ovelha . The seat of the new municipality is Miuzela.
