Monte Perobolço is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Almeida . 61 inhabitants lived in the community (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Monte Perobolço, Mesquitela , Castelo Mendo and Ade were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Castelo Mendo, Ade, Monteperobolso e Mesquitela . Monte Perobolço is the seat of this newly formed municipality.

The Bishop of Beja , José dos Santos Marcos , was born here.
