The Young Socialists of Croatia (Mladi Socijalisti Hrvatske, MSH) is the Marxist-Leninist youth organization of the Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia (SRP), in which members between 15 and 35 years come together.

The Young Socialists advocate overcoming capitalism and the introduction of socialism as well as workers' self-government in Croatia and demand the exit from the European Union and NATO .

The Young Socialists reject discrimination , see themselves as feminist and support the Pride Parade all over Croatia.

organization

The MSH are chaired by a three-person Executive Committee, which is elected in a meeting with a term of two years. An elected MSH member sits in the SRP presidency.

The organization's slogan is: "Never servants, never masters!" ( Croatian : "Nikad sluge, nikad gospodari!")

history

The Young Socialists of Croatia were founded in 1997 as the "Young Democratic Left" (Croatian: Mlada Demokratska Ljevica).

In 2001 they changed their name to "Young Socialists of Croatia" (Croatian: Mladi Socijalisti Hrvatske)

The Young Socialists of Croatia became full members of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) in 2019 .
