Moanda (also Mouanda ) is a city in the province of Haut-Ogooué in southeast Gabon . With around 59,154 inhabitants (2013) it is the sixth largest city in the country.

Moanda is the location of one of the largest manganese mines in the world. The manganese deposits near the city were discovered in 1938 and commercial use began in 1951. The transport was mainly carried out by the COMILOG material ropeway. The current capacity of the mine is a good three million tons per year. It is assumed that the reserves will last for another 60 to 70 years. Moanda has an airfield, two hospitals and several schools. Outside the city, north of the Bangombe plateau, is the Moanda train station, which is served by the Trans-Gabon Railway .

In the city there is also the Stade Henri Sylvoz, which is primarily used for football games. It is the stadium of the Gabonese football club Association Sportive Mangasport (AS Mangasport) founded in 1962. The club plays in the Championnat National D1 , the top division of the national football association of Gabon.
