Mobarak Mosque (The Hague)
The Mobarak Mosque in The Hague is the oldest mosque in the Netherlands .
In 1947, Qudrat-Ullah Hafiz was the first Ahmadiyya missionary to reach the Netherlands. Designed by architect Frits Beck, the mosque was opened by Sir Muhammad Zafrullah Khan on December 9, 1955 and has a minaret and two ornamental minarets at the entrance.
On June 2, 2006, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands visited the Mobarak Mosque to take part in a commemoration to mark the 50th anniversary of the building.
