Mohammad Abdul Wakil

Mohammad Abdul Wakil (* 1945 in the Bagram district , Kabul province) is a former Afghan ambassador and foreign minister .

Life

Abdul Wakil was Ambassador to the Court of St James’s in 1979 . From December 27, 1979 to July 6, 1984 he was Minister of Finance, then he was Ambassador to Vietnam and subsequently Ambassador to Prague . From 1986 to 1992 he was Foreign Minister of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan . On April 14, 1988, he signed parts of the Geneva Agreement .
