Mohammad Ishaq al-Fayyad
Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Ishaq al-Fayyad ( Arabic محمد إسحاق الفياض, Persian محمداسحاق فیاض, born 1930 in Jaghori , Ghazni Province ) is an Iraqi Shiite clergyman.
He is Afghan and teaches at the Islamic Theological College of Najaf , of which he is one of the highest authorities.
Mohammad Fayadh was one of the signatories to the Amman embassy . He was one of the 24 personalities from the Ulema circle who wrote a fatwa (legal opinion).
He has written numerous books on politics, fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and ijtihad (religious imitation).
