Mohhamareza Torabi (born September 5, 1991 ) is an Iranian grass skier . He has competed in FIS races since 2010 , took part in the 2010 Junior World Championship and drove his first World Cup races in 2012 .
Career
Torabi has so far only participated in grass ski races in Dizin in his home country. He drove the first FIS races in July 2010 and achieved his first top 10 placement in tenth in the slalom. In August he took part in the Junior World Championship 2010 , where he achieved two placements in midfield with 12th place in slalom and 14th place in super combination, but was eliminated or disqualified in giant slalom and super-G. In July 2011 and July 2012 Torabi again took part in the FIS races in Dizin before he started in three World Cup races for the first time in August 2012 . After he was disqualified in the giant slalom, he finished 19 and 21 in the two Super-Gs, making him 52nd in the overall World Cup for the 2012 season.
Since 2008, Torabi has been taking part in FIS races and Iranian championships in alpine skiing since 2008 . In FIS races he has finished in the top 15 four times so far.
