life and work
Mohsen Taasha Wahidi (birth name: Mohsin Mohammad Kazim) graduated from Beaconhouse National University in Lahore and participated in artist workshops with Khadim Ali and Shir Ali .
Taasha Wahidi comments on his work as follows: “Social and political issues determine my work. In my country there is injustice, tribal conflicts and minority oppression. I show a world in which everyone suffers from oppression and injustice. Above all, I pay attention to time, elegance and simplicity and strive for unique knowledge and form. In the 21st century I am still looking for an identity that has been lost for centuries. My identity, lost in time, but not safe from it. "
Taasha Wahidi combines Persian miniature painting , motifs of Islamic mysticism , graffiti and punk into his own style in his pictures .
