Mohsen Torky (born July 11, 1973 in Mashhad ) is an Iranian football referee .

Life

Torky has been a FIFA referee since 2003 . On November 17, 2004 he led his first international match with the World Cup qualifier Japan - Singapore (1-0). In qualifying for the 2010 World Cup , he was used four more times. Since the 2008 season he has also been directing regular AFC Champions League matches . At the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar , Torky was initially intended as a reserve referee, but was then used in the preliminary round match between Syria and Japan (1: 2), where he imposed a penalty and a dismissal against both teams .

Mohsen Torky lives in Mashhad and is a PE teacher .
