Molino de Puig d'en Valls

Molino de Puig d'en Valls is a historic flour mill on the island of Ibiza . The Puig d'en Valls mill is mentioned in various historical documents from the city of Santa Eulària des Riu as early as 1791 (Spanish name: Typo Molino Harinero - Torre Ancha) - a windmill with a round tower, built from Marès limestone and field stones. The mill was privately owned and in operation until 1940.

After the purchase by the Consell Insular d'Eivissa , the complete mill construction was restored, the complete grinder was overhauled and the wind turbine with the blades was replaced. It is currently the only example on the island of Ibiza where you can see the workings and mechanics of one of those ancient flour mills that characterized the island's landscape between the 16th and 20th centuries.

It is possible to visit the mill. The maintenance and cleaning of the adjacent garden of Puig den Valls is regulated in the regulation of the Island Council under BOIB No. 78 of May 27, 2010.
