Molly Adair
Molly Adair , actually Marguerite Mary Potter (born March 24, 1905 in London , United Kingdom , † September 9, 1990 in Watford , Hertfordshire , ibid) was a British actress .
Life
Molly Adair made her debut in 1921 in the role of Stella in the silent film of the same name from 1921. Two years later she played the role of Emmeline in the film adaptation of Henry De Vere Stacpoole's The Blue Lagoon and followed in 1924 with her double role as Chaya / Princess Moyain in The Reef of Stars is another film based on a book by Stacpoole. While filming in South Africa, she met and fell in love with the New Zealand-born writer Arthur Siggins. The couple married a little later. Molly Adair gave birth to four children and ended her film career in favor of her private life. Her daughter Jill became a well-known actress in the 1950s.
