Mona Kelly (singer)
Mona Kelly (born September 4, 1940 in Port Arthur ) is a Canadian singer (mezzo-soprano).
Kelly studied with Irene Jessner , Aksel Schiøtz and in England with Otakar Kraus . She sang roles such as Hansel in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel (1962), Nancy in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring (at the Stratford Festival 1967) and Oreste in Jacques Offenbach's La Belle Hélène . Kelly was married to the conductor Mario Bernardi .
