Monika Balancio Lee (* 28. March 1994 in Detroit , Michigan ) is a former Philippine - American football player .
Life
Lee was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in neighboring Shelby Township , where she attended Utica Eisenhower High School . Lee has been studying Marketing and Advertising at Loyola University of Chicago since 2009 .
Career
Lee started her active career in the youth of the Michigan Hawks and joined its successor team Michigan Wolves-Hawks SC in 2007. In the fall of 2007 she enrolled at Utica Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township, where she played four years in Women Soccer with the Eagles. In September 2009 she moved to Loyola University Chicago and played for the university's women's soccer team, the Ramblers, until 2014.
National team
Lee played internationally from 2013 to 2015 for the national soccer team of the Philippines , her parents' home country.
