Monika Unferferth
Monika Unferferth (* 1942 in Bochum ) is a German television presenter, director and fashion designer.
Life
Monika Unferferth grew up in Leipzig and trained as a structural draftsman from 1958 to 1962. Already during her apprenticeship she applied for GDR television and after her employment was one of the youngest television announcers at the DFF. From 1984 to 1989 she moderated the series "Modekiste". From 1991 she moderated the series “Trend on the move”, which ran from 1992 to 1995 at ORB and for which she later also directed.
She has been working as a freelance director for advertising and image films since 1998.
Since 1975 she lived with the DEFA director Frank Beyer , whom she married in 1985. The marriage later ended in divorce.
