Monir Fakhri Abdel Nour

Monir Fakhri Abdel Nour ( Arabic منير فخري عبد النور Munir Fachri Abd an-Nur , DMG Munīr Faḫrī ʿAbd an-Nūr ; * August 21, 1945 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian politician .

He was appointed Minister of Tourism on February 21, 2011 as the first representative of the opposition after the 2011 revolution in Egypt and is also General Secretary of the New Wafd Party . He belongs to the religious community of the Copts .
