Monkstown Castle ( Irish Caisleán Baile na Manach ) is a ruined castle in Monkstown , a suburb of the Irish capital Dublin in County Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown .
The castle was believed to have been built by the monks of the Abbey of the Virgin Mary near Dublin in the 12th or 13th centuries.
