The Mons Rümker is a volcanic mountain on the Earth's moon , named after the German astronomer Karl Rümker since 1935 . It lies in the plane of the Oceanus Procellarum , has a diameter of around 70 km and reaches a height of 1100 m above the plane. It is unique that this mountain range is composed of several volcanic domes .
In contrast to what is usual with Mondbergen, Rümker are assigned a number of so-called secondary craters .
