The Monster Accidentally (Eng. Monster by Mistake ) is a Canadian children's animation series that was broadcast in Germany on Super RTL .

The focus is on eight-year-old Warren, who sneezes and turns himself into a big, blue monster and back and has his problems with it. The cause is a magical jewel from another dimension that is activated by spells. The only ones who know about Warren's secret are his older sister Tracy and the jazz musician and trumpet player Johnny, who is a ghost and is hidden from their parents.
In season 1, the children's archenemy is a devil named Gorgool , who has been locked in a glass ball for his crimes and is now trying to get free through the jewel. He is supported by a stupid henchman.
Fenrath is a magical dimension that is full of ghosts, ghouls, and other creatures. In his castle, Morgool , Gorgool's twin brother, rules his empire with an iron fist. It also has a magical ruby, but it is weaker than the jewel.
The rather fantastic difficulties of Warren and Tracy are offset by the less extraordinary frictions with the nasty neighbor boy Billy and a monster-hunting policewoman.
